Keeping You On Your Toes

School has consumed approximately 80% of my time. Work, 10%. Washing clothes, 5%. Eating, sleeping, bowel movements, urinating, and etc., 4.389349274%. .387702374% to social outings, birthdays, family time. And times like this.

It still boggles me how I've even managed to fit that .387702374%. But whatever, I'm here.

I have a thing for older men. Or maybe it's just the hott doctors we're surrounded around at clinicals. *drools* Fuck the residents, there's nothing hotter than an experienced man! I need to stop raping people in my head, lol.

Just a brush up blog to keep you all on your toes. I'd promise you a better blog, but then I'd just be jinx-ing myself. And my best friend just left for her FREE cruise (bitch) today, so goodluck on the trip, Kat and make sure you bring me back boots. Preferably in Cognac, but I'll accept anything. And yes, when you come back your pictures will be waiting for you.

Always,
M. felle

P.S - I love music videos that are worth watching (unlike Jessica Simpson's videos, I won't even go there). Hands down to Beyonce on this one. Though BC Jean is the original, I think Beyonce sang it better. Here, watch it if you haven't seen yet. And the guy in the video is so cute.

School starts in exactly one week from tomorrow... boooooo.

I'm off for the next four days. You see, I was supposed to be on my merry way to Kissimmee, FLA as we speak but like everything in life, plans changed. I'm still going to get my beach/sun on though so I'll be in AC for the next three. I'm getting sick.. I think it's a cold this time.  I think I'm dying. If not then someone up there's punishing me for something. Or maybe it's just crappy schedule and junkfood eating habits. Anyways, until the next... peace, love, and soul!!!

Always,
yoMomz

Expectations

You should never expect anything from anyone,
you're only setting yourself up for a disappointment in the end.

Some of life's lessons are best learned through pain. I told myself to stop expecting things from others.. from you, 'cause in the end, you always leave me disappointed. For months, night after night I played every memory I had of us over and over again in my head, trying to figure out where it was that I went wrong. Being careful not to repeat that this time around. I know I'm not perfect, but I know I put my all into it this time around. But why am I not happy? Why do I still feel like something is missing? It's kind of like wanting a Nano Baby for a long ass time, then when you finally get it, it's not what you thought it was going to be like, or expected it to be like. And now you're disappointed. I know you're trying,  but I just feel like it's NOT enough. Am I wrong for being selfish? For wanting something for myself just this once? I don't know either.

School Starts Soon... aahh!

School begins in two weeks and some change. I'm excited and at the same time scared/nervous/in denial/etc. For the past two, or was it three? summers (I forget how many times I've been a failure but anyway) I've been taking summer classes and pulling 40-50 hour shifts slaving away at my previous job. I took Anatomy and Physiology (because I failed) and Microbiology (because I refused to take this and nursing classes simultaneously) over the summer, which meant three hours of lab in the morning, an hour and half break, then another three hours of lecture in the evening. That's 7-8 hours of boredom, and these were taken on my days off. I was a full-time assistant manager one summer, and a store manager the other. So you measure up the math on that. Anyway, long story short, I had no life, or time for myself or for family or friends.

This summer, on the otherhand, I didn't take any summer classes. I figured I owed it to myself. And I work petty 26-32 hour shifts as a sales associate. I have a lot of time on my hands with nothing to do. At this point I've adapted to it, but in the beginning I didn't know what to do with myself.  So I did what I do best (don't worry, this blog isn't about food) I READ! I've read so many books this summer, it's ridiculous. I'm tellin' you, that eBay is addicting. I just finished Jodi Picoult's latest "Change of Heart" two hours ago and started Mitch Albom's latest "For One More Day". Reading is fundamental, so don't hate.. which reminds me, I've got laundry to do.

There was really no point of this blog. I just happened to be on the computer emailing and went around with my routine checking up on my internet life which consists of: MySpace, Facebook, Xanga, then off to Friendster I go after this. Anyways, I'm out. I'll see you later.

By the way, whose watching the Olympics?? That Michael Phelps is a dolphin. That guy can swim! I'd feel safe if he was on the beach with me.

Always,
M. felle*

P.S. My new default picture was taken after the videoshoot at my job. Don't worry, it wasn't that serious. If they decide to keep that shot, I'm in the background laughing my ass off for like 3 seconds. But the makeup/hair stylist hooked me up with the ill eyeshadow, yo! LOL. No but seriously, my eyeshadow was hott.

Damn you, eBay.

I'm going to murder the genius who invented eBay. Word. At first I thought I was doing pretty darn good. Selling a couple of stuff here, getting money there. Having a few Kanye moments watching that money pile up.. on PayPal, of course. For a second there, I thought I was going to be down this semester rockin' a FiveStar College Ruled notebook instead of the usual Staples/CVS brand I've been rockin' the last couple of semesters. But as soon as I get that money, it gets recycled right back in. I sold a pair of pumps in exchange for a Mini SD Card for my BlackBerry. Was it really necessary? No. But it felt so good at the moment. Damn you, eBay. Oh, and if you haven't caught on, yes I have a new phone. Out with the Treo/Razr, in with the BlackBerry.

Yeah, there goes that FiveStar pencil case too.

That Keyshia Cole. I couldn't have said it better myself.

Always,
M. felle

PS - Congratulations to Kat and Mae!! You guys are officially RNs, not just students! LOL
